Severe weather could affect Sheboygan
"Thanksgiving holiday travelers planning to go north are advised to wait till later. A powerful storm is bringing high winds and rain to our region, but the northwest half of the state is getting a much snowier situation with winter storm warnings dominating the forecast. Snowfall of a foot and more is likely in places like Rhinelander, Rice Lake and Superior, and the near-blizzard conditions in much of the northwoods will make travel difficult and dangerous. Closer to home the heavy rains of overnight are giving way to scattered rains, but driving winds will peak this afternoon, gusting over 40 mph. Things quiet quickly overnight and a peaceful Thanksgiving is forecast. For the weekend, a little minor snow could appear Friday night, but a weekend system should bring mostly rain for us."
