Tornado Touches Down, Severe Weather in South

(CNN) — A tornado touched down in southern Mississippi on Sunday, injuring at least three people, officials said.
The injured people were in Marion County, according to Brett Carr with the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency. It was not immediately clear how they were hurt.
Terry Steed of the Emergency Management District in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, said the tornado touched down there and that it caused damage.
