Flash flooding continues to threaten parts of the Southwest as moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Odile continues to unleash heavy rain in parts of New Mexico and West Texas. Other pockets of flash flooding are possible in the Great Basin and also near the Southeast coast.
Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds, large hail and tornadoes are not a major threat over the next few days, though a few can't be ruled out the next few days on the High Plains.
