New storm from the West moves across country

As the coldest air of the season settles in, a series of storm systems will bring heavy rain along the west coast and heavy snow into the mountains through the weekend.
Snow will  spread onto the northern Plains, the Midwest and eventually the Northeast Sunday:
Heavy Lake Effect snow will also be ongoing downwind of the Great Lakes with western New York picking up  2 to 3 feet!
And we’ll have to wait and see how much cold air moves in and the exact track of the storm to see how much snow we could get here in the Northeast Sunday/Monday.  Stay tuned!
