A special World War II-era airplane is coming with aid from Montana. The aid is pouring into the Bahamas as the relief effort after Hurricane Dorian. The C-47 plane famously known as the "Miss Montana" has left the state on Saturday. The plane stopped in Florida and sometime during Monday it will be departing to deliver first load of means to Bahamas. The volunteering pilots hope to deliver 40,000 meals per day to the island. Volunteers who are helping out after the tremendous hurricane planned to make deliveries runs for two weeks although if it will be necessary they are willing to stay longer. The official death toll from the storm remains at 50, but officials warn the number will almost certainly rise. The plane that is delivering the goods to the island is originally housed at he Museum of Mountain Flying in Montana. The Bahamians are homeless and in need of food and living daily supplies. The horrible hurricane took houses and damaged them for good without a shelter. The individuals go from shelters to schools and vice versa.
