Nashville and Middle Tennessee flooded


(http://www.weather.com/news/nashville-flooding-middle-tennessee-20130428Torrential rainfall swept across Middle Tennessee Saturday into early Sunday (April 27-28), leading to flooding in many areas. Officially, Nashville received 3.42 inches of rain during the 30-hour period ending at 7 a.m. CDT Sunday. Here are some images and videos from the flooding.

  7. Numerous roads were flooded both in Nashville and its surrounding suburbs. Several homes were evacuated in Murfreesboro and Goodlettsville. West of Nashville, in Stewart County, officials reported "major flash flood damage" and numerous water rescues. Here are more images of the flooding around Middle Tennessee:
