Chicago: Icy Air to Linger Into Late November
After a few days of mild weather at the start of the week, cold air will surge into Chicago at midweek and hang around for several days.
Highs will fall into the 30s beginning Wednesday and will fail to rise again through the weekend. Breezy conditions and cloudy skies will make RealFeel temperatures even lower.
Those who spend significant time outdoors or rely on public transportation for the morning commute will want to bundle up and get out their winter coats.
The arctic air arriving at midweek will signal a noticeable change in the weather for Chicago for at least the next two weeks.
Temperatures will hover around 30 degrees; the normal for this time of year in Chicago is in the upper 40s.
