Weather: 'Major storm' on its way to CNY

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The National Weather Service is predicting a "major storm" along the East coast starting Monday night or early Tuesday.

Monday's forecast in Central New York is pleasant, with partly sunny skies during the day. But by Tuesday morning, a mix of rain and snow will develop across the area, the National Weather Service said. Then, snow will blanket the region Wednesday through Friday.
