Nothing could be finer than Men's College Cup soccer played in Alabama weather

HOOVER, Alabama - Maryland coach Sacho Cirovski was left wondering where he was as the Terrapins did their walk through today at Regions Park.
"I thought we were in San Diego but we're in Hoover," he said of the 70 degree and sunny conditions. "It's pretty awesome."
Cirovski recalled playing in a College Cup in 2008 in Dallas and the final was played in 70degrees.
"It was very humid," the coach said. "This is going to be just a beautiful soccer weather day. We couldn't ask for more."

Cirovski found much colder conditions when he was a spectator at the 2011 Men's College Cup last year at Regions Park. He vowed to return with his team.
"At the end of every game this year, we played the theme of 'Sweet Home, Alabama,'" the coach said. "It was great to hear it one more time after the Elite Eight game, knowing that we're coming here to play for the national championship."
