Scattered showers remain in the forecast Saturday as a low pressure system treks northeast along the Canada/United States border.
Sunday will be a transition day as the Saturday system exits and a new storm from the Midwest approaches. Rain from this storm may move into the Mid-Atlantic during the day and spread northward into New England overnight.

Monday's Forecast
The approach of the aforementioned next front on Sunday will set the stage for a soggy start to the week on Monday. Rain is likely from New England to the central Appalachians.
Travel delays are a good bet in the Northeast, so be sure to pencil in some extra time for your Monday commutes.
Depending on how the storm evolves, rain may continue along the East Coast into Tuesday.
