Severe thunderstorms Flood threat returns

Severe thunderstorms will threaten parts of the Southeast thanks to the same low-pressure system responsible for Winter Storm Boreas farther north.
Background

Rainfall Forecast That low pressure system will track into eastern North Carolina by Wednesday morning, pulling just enough marginally warm and humid air northward ahead of its attendant cold front to spark some severe thunderstorms over the Southeast, just in time for Thanksgiving holiday travel.
From Tuesday night into early Wednesday, thunderstorms may line up ahead of the cold front from the eastern Carolinas to the Florida Peninsula. Unfortunately, a few tornadoes are possible, along with damaging straight-line winds. You can find the chance of tornadoes in your area at this link.

In additional to the severe weather potential, heavy rain will fall across a wide area, leading to the potential for localized flooding.http://www.weather.com/news/tornado-central/severe-weather-tracker-page
