Floods and Landslides in Pakistan

More than 70 people have died in Pakistan after monsoon rains brought flash floods that inundated villages, collapsed homes and triggered landslides, officials said Friday.
Flood warnings are issued across the country and more rain and flash flooding is possible over the weekend. The Punjab and Kashmir regions have been hit the hardest.
"We are bracing for more deaths," said , a spokesman at Kashmir's disaster management authority, told Reuters.
Nisar Saani, a director at the Punjab Disaster Management Authority, told Reuters that most of the 43 dead in Punjab died because the roofs of their homes collapsed. In Punjab's largest city, Lahore, 13 people died from roof collapses alone.  Others were electrocuted.
