The Treasure Valley saw a lot of precipitation Saturday, breaking rainfall records in Boise.
According to the National Weather Service, 1.15 inches of rain fell in Boise, breaking the previous record for November 1 - .52 inches - set in 1950. It also broke the November single-day rainfall record of .92, which was set back in 1898.
While it was pouring buckets in the valley, it was snowing in the hills. Boise residents woke up to a blanket of white covering the foothills.
