Topeka and Manhattan prepared for arctic blast

The city of Topeka is prepared if this artic blast brings snow down on us.
The city public works department was filling four spreader trucks Monday afternoon. There will also be one brine truck ready to be dispatched if needed.
The department has also serviced all equipment and operators have undergone training in anticipation of winter weather.
