How Warm Will It Be?
Above-average temperatures will stretch across the Southwest and Inter-Mountain West by Thursday. Highs will be 10 to 25 degrees above-average for most locations.
High temperatures on Thursday may reach the low 80s inPhoenix, with highs climbing into the 60s in Salt Lake Cityand Denver.
On Friday, high temperatures in the 60s will reach as far north as Rapid City, South Dakota where a record high is possible (current record is 62). A daily record high may also be broken for the second straight day Friday in Salt Lake City (63), and Denver may flirt with its daily record Friday, as well.

The southern Plains will really warm up by Saturday where high temperatures will be up to 30 degrees above average. Temperatues wll soar into the 80s for parts of western Texas including San Angelo and Abilene. Dallas-Ft. Worth may even flirt with the 80-degree mark Saturday.
Record high temperatures are possible Saturday in Lubbock, Texas , Amarillo, Texas, Oklahoma City and Wichita, Kansas. Amarillo may reach 80 degrees on Saturday. It's hard to believe the area received more than 10 inches of snow in January fromWinter Storm Iola and low temperatures are expected to be in the teens this Thursday morning.
