In San Francisco, the weather Tuesday along the bay could pass 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. That’s about 10 degrees above normal, but well below the 101-degree record for the day that was set in 1904.
“No records have been set this weekend, and there probably won’t be this week,” said Drew Peterson, a forecaster for the weather service based in Monterey. “We’re thinking Wednesday is going to be our hottest day, but there are some pretty robust records sitting in the way.”"
