While meteorologists expect it to feel more like autumn in New Jersey to end the weekend, summer-like weather isn't over yet.
High temperatures will reach the low- to mid-70s throughout most of the region on Sunday and then fall to the low- to mid-50s overnight, according to the National Weather Service. A slight chance of showers exists for most of the state throughout the day and wind gusts of up to 20 miles per hour are possible in the northeastern region.
Similar temperatures are expected in New Jersey to start the work week on Monday but then warmer weather will move into the area beginning on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service's Mount Holly office also said the high temperatures Wednesday through Saturday should be roughly 10 degrees above normal, "values more reminiscent of mid summer norms."
