Hurricane Erika Aftermath

The aftermath of Hurricane Erika has effected the caribbeans and parts of South Carolina and Florida. Charleston, South Carolina received 6.4 inches of rain and made this the 5th wettest day in history of South Carolina. Florida was not as bad South Carolina but did have some major flooding in Tampa and flood warnings from Fort Meyers to Orlando.

In the caribbeans Hurricane Erika hit hard and caused a lot of structural damage. On the island of Dominica there were at least 20 deaths caused from the 13 inches of rain that fell also causing monumental damage. In Puerto Rico 200000 people lost their power and crops were destroyed . From the rain A car crashed occurred leaving 4 people dead and 11 injured. The recovery from this storm will be very expensive.
