ABC7 Meteorologist Tracy Butler said the snow isn't sticking because temperatures are in the upper 30s Wednesday morning, but the roads are wet. Visibility may be compromised by the falling snow and fog. Drivers are urged to reduce speed and keep their distance.

City officials said 210 Streets and Sanitation trucks are ready to clear snow from Chicago streets during the morning rush.

Butler said only about 1-3 inches of snow is expected to accumulate on grassy surfaces. The snow should move out of the area by the early afternoon.
