A storm from the gulf of Alaska stalled for a second day over Northern California. The mountains got a blanket of snow and a tornado occurred near the state capital. It ended up getting on fans and players at the seventh game of the National League Championship. On Monday afternoon the tornado touched down 40 miles north of Sacramento. Only minor damages were reported. There were other funnel clouds reported but they never touched down. This is good for Nevada since they depend on snow accumulation for their water supply.
