Northern California Winter Storm

In an article from Tracie Cone of The Weather Channel, the severe winter storms in California are discussed.  The mountains were covered with snow, a tornado was produced, and heavy rain affected many cities such as San Francisco.  The storm came from the Gulf of Alaska, with 80 mph winds near the crests of the Sierra Nevada.  This storm helps Nevada, as the snow will help their water supply levels.  The storm has affected the area for a few days, providing a lot of precipitation.
