- The last significant weather system will push through central CA this Sunday with another round of heavy rain, very gusty winds, and significant high mountain snow.
Record Warmth Kicks Off December
Since we're now in December, one would think that snowflakes and frozen conditions would be in the forecast for the majority of the country. Right?
Wrong.
With the jet stream riding to the north and southerly winds at the surface, warmer-than-average air will engulf a large portion of the country through Monday.
Daily record highs will be threatened in numerous cities each day through Monday. The interactive map above displays more than 40 cities that are forecast to be within three degrees of their record high temperature on Sunday.
