Spring-like weather expected this week

This week will have a decidedly Spring-like feel to it, with temperatures approaching the 50s on several days.

Monday will set the precedent with highs in the mid-50s, according to WTNH meteorologist Sam Kantrow. A morning fog will burn off, Kantrow said, giving way to mostly sunny skies during the latter half of the day.

Clouds will roll in this evening to cool things off a bit: Overnight temperatures are expected to dip into the 40s, he said.

The region could see some intermittent rain tomorrow and early Wednesday, but by the middle of the day Wednesday, the skies will clear and temperatures will rise -- hitting 60 degrees in some places.
