Bundle up, White Sox fans.
Warmer temperatures that brought Chicago out of a cold slump last week are expected to drop back down to the mid-30s Monday, according to NBC Chicago's Cheryl Scott.
Chicagoans saw weekend temps in the mid-50s along with Easter Sunday sunshine, but temps could drop below freezing Monday into Tuesday.
The drop in temperature could mean a chilly game for those planning to attend the White Sox home opener Monday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field.
Areas south of the Chicago area could see some snow but the winter weather should stay south of the city.
Monday's cold front is not expected to stay in the city for long, however, and temps should spring back into the low 50s by Thursday.
