Severe flooding riddles Midwest

SPRING BAY, IL (WHOI/CNN) - Central Illinois has been under water as flooding has forced residents from their homes.

Because of high flood waters, town officials of Spring Bay issued an evacuation order Friday for people to pack up and put sandbags around their homes.

Officials said levels will continue to rise through the weekend.

The record high level of water Spring Bay has seen is 28.8 feet, but the river is expected to hit 30 feet by Tuesday.
