Winter Storm Linus was blamed in at least six deaths in the Midwest Sunday through Monday, where it dumped 20 inches in some locations before trekking east. Illinois, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan Ohio and Indiana got hit hard by snowfall.
Chicago got over 12 inches of snow and in some parts close to 15. Snowfall totals exceeded a foot across much of Chicagoland. That means tricky travel for commuters, whether by car, train or airplane Monday.
Over 2,500 flights were cancelled across the Midwest on Sunday.
The CTA was very slow during this storm.
