The National Weather Service in Raleigh, North Carolina, said Monday morning that it was experiencing a communication outage.
The office said the outage impacts their ability to update snowfall, aviation and hazard maps online. It doesn't hinder their ability to issue forecasts and other products, they said.
Technicians were working to resolve the issue.
The Raleigh-Durham area received close to a foot or more of snow in some locations from a major storm that caused major travel disruptions and hundreds of thousands of power outages in the state.
