Sydney weather forecast: Deadliest storm in decades hits Sydney with more rain on the way
The storm struck Sydney on Wednesday amid chaotic scenes. As the deluge of rain pummelled the city, thousands were left without power, streets and homes flooded. At least two deaths have been blamed on the storm. At one point on Wednesday, the city received its average monthly rainfall for November in just two hours. A 14-year-old boy died in a car accident in Thornleigh, in the north of Sydney on Wednesday morning.
