Windstorm Whips Through Alaska

      On Tuesday September 19th, a windstorm went through Alaska. The high winds knocked down power lines and rerouted planes. There were also travel delays and power outages. This was the third storm like this to hit Anchorage this month. Wind gusts of 70 mph were expected with this storm. Seven flights were diverted, two being commercial and five being for cargo. A warning was issued by the National Weather Service.
