TULSA, Okla. —
The Tulsa metropolitan area will see heavy rain, with the possibility of damaging hail and high winds Saturday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service and News on 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer.
The storms will arrive in the late afternoon or early evening, perhaps as early as 5:00 p.m. but more likely around 6:00 p.m., Meyer tells KRMG.
NWS storm prediction maps show Tulsa in the middle of a zone of predicted severe weather which stretches from northeastern Mexico to Wisconsin.
