Strong cold front to bring some showers and much cooler weather
A strong cold front will slowly progress through the region
this afternoon with a chance of showers as temperatures begin to fall.
The front will then stall out to our east on Sunday and a wave of low
pressure will move along the front spreading more rain into the region
late Sunday. High pressure looks to return on Monday with some drier
weather and a very chilly air mass into early next week.

Today – Mostly cloudy and cooler with a chance of showers from
late morning into this afternoon, and some clearing is possible late,
especially west of Albany. High 61-65, with temperatures dropping into
the afternoon. Winds west between 10 and 15 mph. Chance of rain 50
percent.
Normal High/Low: 64° / 43°
Tonight – Partly cloudy. Low 39-43. Winds west between 5 and 10 mph.
Sunday – Mostly cloudy and chilly with rain likely in the afternoon.
High 52-56. Winds west around 5 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.
Sunday Night – Cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening, then
gradually becoming mostly clear toward morning. Low 39-41. Winds west
around 5 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
Columbus Day – Partly sunny and chilly. High 54-58. Winds west between 5 and 10 mph.
