Weather Cancellation Disappoints Fiesta-Goers

All eyes were attentively watching the mustering of a weather disturbance building on the east side of the mountains that threatened to blow away the opening mass ascension of the 2012 International Balloon Fiesta early this morning.
At 6:30 a.m., the morning was still dark and the only light on the field was from the moon. Althought dawn patrol had not taken off at it’s orginally-scheduled 5:45 a.m. time slot, people remained hopeful on the field for mass ascension....
