After Hurricane Sandy the seaside towns of Jersey Shore have been upended. Some of the boardwalks have even been pushed into the sea. Along the 127 mile coastline, the storm wrecked all over the rich and poor communities, from million dollar homes in Bay Head and Mantoloking to bay front bungalows. A roller coaster from the boardwalks was dumped into the ocean. The worst damage is near the ocean, but it has spread further out as well. This is tough on the city since the boardwalks in Seaside are popular tourist attractions and well known in pop culture because of the reality show "Jersey Shore". It is also where Bon Jovi shot one of their first videos.
