A strong cold front will bring a chance of severe storms to parts of the Midwest through the end of the week.
Thursday, areas from the western Great Lakes and
Upper Mississippi Valley to the Lower Missouri Valley will be at risk
for a few severe storms. This may include Minneapolis, Minn., Des
Moines, Iowa and Kansas City, Mo. Localized damaging wind gusts, large
hail and locally heavy rainfall will be the main concerns.
Friday,
a few severe storms will continue to be possible ahead of the cold
front from the eastern Great Lakes southwestward to the Ohio Valley and
