Tuesday, a few severe storms may develop in the northern Rockies ahead of this new frontal system.
Farther south, locally heavy rainfall is still possible in eastern New Mexico. Given the saturated grounds, some localized flash flooding cannot be ruled out.

Wednesday, the greatest chance for isolated severe storms will be ahead of the cold front from North Dakota and northwest Minnesota to Nebraska.
Thursday, areas from the western Great Lakes and Upper Mississippi Valley to the Lower Missouri Valley will be at risk for a few severe storms.
Localized damaging wind gusts and large hail will be the primary threats each day.
