Monday, most of the severe weather will be focused along a narrow area from southern Vermont to Washington, DC, in the afternoon.  The main threat from theses storms will be hail and high winds, although an isolated weak tornado cannot be totally ruled out.  The main "mode" for severe weather will more than likely be a squall line with bow echoes potentially embedded within.  The chance for showers and thunderstorms also extends down into the Carolinas and a few storms could pulse to severe levels, although organized severe weather is not expected at this time.
Monday Threat Areas:  Albany, N.Y. |Washington, D.C. | Raleigh, N.C.
