Mississippi prepares for severe weather outbreak
In Mississippi statewide emergency operations are on full force preparing for upcoming storm systems. The Mississippi Emergency Management Director held a meeting at FEMA headquarters which is highly unusual but shows how serious they are about the upcoming storms. These meetings are to better pinpoint the timeline of the storms. Things that they are expecting due to high risks of tornados and hail in addition to high winds. This is putting communities back on flood watch for a second time this month.
