30-Car Rush Hour Pileup in Indianapolis caused by Black Ice

• The pileup occurred shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday. 
• Four patients were transported to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities say black ice is responsible for a 30-car pileup Thursday in suburban Indianapolis.

Fishers Fire Department Capt. John Mehling says the pileup occurred shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday on the 96th Street bridge over the White River in Carmel.
