
Heavy rain and thunderstorms slammed parts of Argentina over the weekend, and more is on the way through Tuesday.
Buenos Aires and surrounding areas were hit by the stormy weather from Friday night into Saturday, resulting in flooding.
Parts of the national capital were inundated by more than 125 mm (5 inches) of rainfall in less than 24 hours.
The normal November monthly rainfall in Buenos Aires is around 84 mm (3.30 inches).
The heaviest rainfall shifted into areas around Santa Fe and Parana on Sunday and Sunday night.
The region endured widespread flooding after more than 250 mm (10 inches) of rain fell in a 24-hour period.
