The footage shows the moment a rare, quadruple waterspout stunned locals and tourists on the remote island Koh Lipe, in the south of Thailand. One tourist can be heard asking: “Oh my God, what is it?” Another replied: “That's a cyclone, its sucking up the water.”
The video was captured by a worker on the island, Kim Puya.
When asked about the phenomenon she said: “I’ve never seen anything like this before. I’ve not even seen one waterspout, so it was amazing to see four of them together.
