Birds Migration Affected By Drought

In an interesting article from Chuck Raasch of USA Today on The Weather Channel, the topic of bird migration is discussed as the drought will affect their rest stops.  Many wetland areas where birds can stop to rehydrate have been very much affected by the drought, something that some birds may have not experienced.  Although the hurricane has helped give rainfall to some parts of the country, there are many places where the birds aren't going to be able to get the water and food they need.
