Over the weekend President Obama spoke with the governors of Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky to express his concern for citizens impacted by the severe weather and tornadoes this week, including Wednesday, Friday, and overnight Friday into Saturday, and offered condolences to families who had lost loved ones.
With the death toll near 40, and still rising, several US communities are struggling to dig out from the catestrophic storms.
