California Gets a New Wildfire, and it's Visible from the Bay Area
A wildfire originating from California's "Mount Diablo" has now grown large enough to be visible from the bay area. The "Morgan Fire" has burned over 1000 acres so far, and residents of Contra Costa county are facing mandatory evacuations. The fire is just one of a multitude of fires to have happened this wildfire season in California including the larger (but nearly contained) rim fire. This year has been California's driest to date, and it has a good many fires to show for it already.
