Severe Thunderstorms Possible in the Northeast; Southwest Flood Threat

Tuesday and Wednesday, a few severe storms are possible from northern New York to northern New England. Damaging wind gusts and large hail will be the main threats each day.

On Thursday, thunderstorms will be more widespread across the Northeast as a strong cold front sweeps through the region. These storms could produce localized damaging wind gusts, large hail and locally heavy rainfall.

Meanwhile, scattered showers and storms will continue to flare up over the Southwest the next few days.
