Britain's summer comes to a miserable end in Birmingham as a
hail and snow storm leaves roads looking like rivers.
After a miserable August an unseasonal snow storm marked the
end of summer as giant hail stones, lightning bolts and flash floods battered
Britain.
Traffic ground to a halt as a freak blizzard swept through
the Midlands at around 7.30pm on Tuesday.
The adverse weather conditions lasted for about thirty
minutes and was captured by Paul Rigby, who witnessed his street both flooded
and covered in snow.
It should come as no surprise that bookies are predicting
this August to be the wettest month on record.
