Approximately a dozen reports of tornadoes were made on Saturday, December 1st in central Illinois. Surveys are scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, December 2nd. Five different counties had reports of tornadoes, according to article in the Chicago Tribune. No injuries or deaths have been reported, however. The tornado watch for central Illinois expired at 7pm on Saturday, and storms are expected to lose strength as they move toward Chicago. Some thunderstorms are expected to happen near the city, but mostly light rain will occur.
