A winter weather advisory has been issued for most of Maine Sunday. Slippery road conditions can be expected Sunday morning, away from the immediate coast.

Snow and an icy mix arrive before sunrise Sunday. A gradual warm up and change to rain will occur during the day Sunday, from the coast moving inland.
Track wintry mix hour-by-hourThe mountains and higher elevations will see a few inches of accumulation.
Outside of the mountains, the rain will win out through the morning Sunday and any snow in the mix will get washed away. A change to rain in the north and mountains early Sunday afternoon before the storm moves out.
