Photographer Santiago Vanegas took an epic journey to Antarctica in January 2009. On a small boat he and other photographers navigated the dangerous Drake Passage, the waterway connecting the southwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean and the southeastern part of the Pacific Ocean, to capture some unique images. He shares his photographs and impressions of this delicate, changing landscape.
