A strong cold front will head for the Eastern Seaboard on Tuesday. 
Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop ahead of this front in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes will be possible.

After this front pushes through Tuesday night, the severe weather threat across the country will be minimal Wednesday into Thursday.
