Epic Flooding in Colorado

The main severe thunderstorm threat over the next few days will be along the East Coast on Friday. There will be strong to severe thunderstorms will develop ahead of an encroaching cold front.
Severe flash flooding will continue to affect parts of central Colorado.  Additional rainfall is expected to exacerbate existing flooding.  Stay away from swollen rivers and creeks, as six inches of fast moving flood waters can knock people off their feet and two feet of rushing water can push an SUV downstream.
Denver, Boulder and Fort Collins are all areas that can expect more rain overnight and through tomorrow morning.
Goodland, Kan., Albuquerque, N.M., and El Paso, Texas should also be on alert for possible flood conditions. Click here for breaking news regarding the flash flooding in Colorado, Kansas, and New Mexico.
It's feasible to think some of these areas could see upwards of one foot of rain through Friday.
